have i got the right cam

my g40 has the following mods,
1341 engine with wossnor pistons, ported and polished head, stage r1 charger,65mm toothed pulleys,ppp 4 branch manifold with ppp 63mm exhaust,g60 injectors,lightened and balanced flywheel and pulleys,front mount intercooler and am currently waiting for chip number 5 from ppp.

the cam ive been told to get is a 256/272 fast road cam, can anyone confirm this for me.

also do i need to upgrade my fuel pump now the car has more power,

fuel pumps - oem are up to scratch if they are in good working order, many people replace them with new from vw

i fitted this cam today, do they need to be set up through the vernier pulley because its wasnt running very well today after it was all timed back up. thanks
