tyre sizes?
« on: April 07, 2009, 01:55:37 pm »
orite guys just got my self a set of 14inch  bbs ra's (6J i think) and i am looking for tyres for them now but unsure about sizes, at the moment i have a set of 14 inch rh cup wheels with 195x45 tyres and they seem ok no rubbing or anything but my cars not that low anyway but there dont seem to be many tyre choices in that size apart from falkens and toyos which might be ok but is there any other size combination i could possibly use.

Cheers Grant

Yokohama do a539's in 185/50/14 which I've just put on my 14x6's - paid £60 each fitted/balanced from my local place.

Continental also do their sportcontact's in the same size but I tried for a few weeks to get hold of them and nobody seemed able to - was told they'd have been at least £90 a piece though.

Hope this helps.
