wheel bearing

is it worth changing the wheel bearing (mainly front) when I change the suspension? if so any rough ideas how much they are.

I wouldn't bother if it's not worn out.  It's a bit of a ball ache to do unless you have a press.  They are about £40 a side from VW if I remember correctly, I wouldn't go near a cheaper GSF one.

i did on mine £25 a side and £25 a side for vw top mounts.  for peice of mind... but as hayesey says, if its not worn out....

£25 a side from VW?  I seem to remember mine costing a bit more than that.

althought last one was £2.99 plus post from ebay - and its genuine vag one too - bonus!

Thanks guys they arent noticably worn so I won't bother then, spark plugs are a more pressing matter at the minute.
