anyone fancy this?

anyone fancy retro show at santapod sat 5th july then GTI festival on the sunday the 6th i emailed santapod and asked if you could do both shows and camp and they said thats fine. I think it willl make a good weekend not just the same thing all weekend.

at BVF? yeah there's always loads of watercooled stuff there, it's a cracking weekend.

yea just never been there i went E38 last year and to be honest i was not impressed some people said it was the best show out of the lot i thought it was a bit turd lol. might give BVF a try then ill see what my mates think.

interesting, what didn't you like about E38?  Although to be honest, all the "I love paint" cars don't really interest me either, I just go for the social side, camping, having a laugh etc... Although I did spend a large part of the last e38 half dead in my tent after overdoing it somewhat on friday night.

BVF is more about the having a laugh side than it is even a car show really!

yea just all the people with fancy paint and diamonds in there wheels put me off id rather just have a laugh and a good time. everyone to there own tho lol.
i just like gti festival for the strip action! why do they have to clash!!!

yeah those fancy paint cars and diamonds in wheels bore the hell of out me too.  To be honest, the actual E38 show during the day is just something to stumble around while you sort your hangover out before the session starts again.  For me anyway.... But there are always some damn cool cars hidden in between all the paint-mobiles too.  Honda fireblade engined, RWD Derbys and such like :)

It is a shame BVF is the same weekend as I'd like to go to the Retro show, looks like lots of cool stuff goes but BVF rocks. One of my favourite shows.

yea that blade powered derby was a bit smart!!! it was worth going for a few cars but couldnt watch them in action. strip is good for a watch no fancy paint there lol.

but thats wat a car shows are for cars , i go for more knowledge or ideas for my own car its not a holiday to centre parks or something
