do the toothed pullys make any sound difference

Yes, some are noisier than others depeing on tooth profile. They all whine a bit. The Pitstop ones sound better compared to others IMO

Yeah, theres quite a few kits coming up for sale second hand tho. I got mine not long ago. Keep your eye out here and on club polo.
