Searching for Polo G40 Genesis - K157 BOM

Hi All,

Ive never posted anything in a forum or done a post like this, so I hope I'm posting it in the right place.

I was wondering if anyone could help.

A few years ago I sold one of my pride and joys, my 'Polo G40 Genesis' registration 'K157 BOM' due to my own financial reasons.

I am trying to locate the car so that I hopefully could purchase the vehicle back off its owner. Long shot I know.

Can anyone shed any light onto where it could be, or if anyone could point me in the right direction so that I may find it?

It’s last mot was done in Barnsley area. This run out in jan 2016 and it hasn’t been moted since so currently it must be off the road. Info taken from mot history website

Low miles at 36k

its owned by an mot tester and his wife/gf. I think he works at that garage - Darton in Barnsley,  Her name is Chloe if i remember.

haha amazing, how do you boys know this stuff and find it out! thank you so much.

PETEG40 - well its registered off the road, do you know these people and have any contact details?

LeonL - Rimmington Auto Services has now closed down, it was the last place it had a registered MOT, some 2 years ago, since then its been off the road. I've hit a dead end as no one knows who the MOT chap is and his details.

If you boys could shed any more light, or tell me where you are finding this info ill do some more digging?
