REMOVING ENGINE !!

im thinking about dropping my engine and gear box out of the G and refurbing EVERYTHING all the loom all hoses getting the engine looking propper MINT !! thinking red block and head with chrome rocker cover now for the Questions

1 is it a big job to do im a confident home mechanic and think it should be possible

2 what colour should i do my inlet i was thinking metalic silver

3 anybody done this before and could be there as a guide if i screw up hahaha anythings possible :/

pretty easy to do if your logical.

label up all the loom and you will be fine.

colour - whatever you want depends on the car

been done thousands of times before. polos are extremely simple in relative terms so you will do well to completely mess things up.

just make sure everything goes back on clean, without paint everywhere and seals properly [eg new gaskets]

also use etch primer on the ally head and High temp paint.
