A show about car maintenance is about to lose the maintenance aspect, I wonder how long it will survive.

I hear from people that have worked with Ant, he is a little less thorough.

I just heard there was another season starting, Ed was the best part of it.. Mike is/can be pretty annoying.

Mike's test drive of the mk1 mx5 hilarious, just drifting her car around hahaha

The ford capri one is the best, even on the tv you can see how bad the front wings are.

I dont get why you would buy a proven popular formula and instantly mess about with it and remove the best bit of it.

I was just going to say, my favourite is the Capri one where he gives the wing the worst rattle can spray job ever.

I've not really watched much of Wheeler Dealers for the last couple of years, I liked the earlier ones.

Car SOS is better now I think.

I did like the first one they did where Mike had to start off with something like a £1500 car and work his way up to a "supercar" by buying and selling.  I think it was around europe.

I guess Ed can go back to making motorised beds now

Never understood the point of this show, they appear to forget the cost of the fully kitted out workshop and the time/ labour needed to do the tasks. Conveniently forget that in their prices!

Haha I remember the Capri one, what a joke. You could see the look on Ed's face.. even he knew it was shocking.

From what Ed says in that video it sounds like they are trying to make it more like one of the many American car shows on Discovery.  Which is a shame to me as I can't stand most of them, they are more about people bitching at each other than anything to do with cars and have little to no technical details in them.

I watched the Mk1 Escort one the other day and he was setting the bearing end float on a diff, you dont seem to get that in any other car show. If they are the biggest car show at the moment the appetite must be there for it. If Attaboy managed to film all that stuff with 4 people Discovery's production company must be crap or lazy.

That capri is laughable.

We all know edd only does half the work.  And some of their 'uprating' is shit.  But some of the stuff they do is pretty cool, educational, and they make a good job with a lot of stuff

They get a lot of stick for moving over to America but some of the stuff they've done have been really good. There's only so many times you can do 80's hot hatches lol. On the flip side it became difficult to watch and enjoy as much when the cars they were selling becsme quite expensive as I doubt as many people could relate. Still enjoy most episodes. My worst and I always turn off is that 90's Saab turbo....yawn.

Well Ed has a new series on YouTube. Golf on carbs sounds good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaW9Sg5NPyE.

Also if you've never seen it check out Soup. He does some pretty cool stop motion stuff and shows you how rusty a range rover can be. Low budget compared to most stuff but more in depth. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheeKookTube/videos
