Car won't start
« on: November 30, 2016, 03:48:49 pm »
Afternoon all I've just put a new battary on the car as the old one kept draining.the car now won't even turn over,it makes a click but then the alarm kicks in.im pretty good with anything else on my car but not very clued up with electrics.so if anybody has any ideas as to why my car won't turn over please feel free to offer advice.the only thing I can think of is the starter motor or alternator as they could be the only things preventing it from turning over.

I would recommend taking a multi meter and following the 12V feed to make sure its getting to the (fuel pump and ecu) relays. And also to the starter motor. Sometimes its a loose connection or bad earth as suggested
