Oil cooler position
« on: June 28, 2016, 08:39:04 pm »
Looking for optimum oil cooler position. It's a 13 row mocal one. Can't seem to fit it nicely behind the bumper bar.

Any hints?

If your going to put it there then I wouldn't bother fitting it unless you sit it a lot lower so that it catches air from the fog light opening, mine is fitted behind the grille next to the drivers headlight

I'll find a pic

Mine is the fitted on the passenger side and it is at 90 degrees compared to your one so it gets air flow from the fog light cutout.

Cheers for the suggestions. Struggling for space next to the headlight as i have a fmic and charger. Will try adjusting it through 90 degrees. haven't drilled any holes yet

kwijibo_coupe... does it keep the engine temp down? even when ragging it in that position?

Yes it will do I had mine there originally, but moved to the grille because I didn't want the empty fog light hole in the bumper,

Mine is turbo so I will have more clearance next the headlight should of thought of that.
