Roof lining dropped at the back :-(

Morning all as above my roof limply has dropped at the rear of my g and I must of tried almost evey project on the market going from carpet glue to industrial bonding adhesive and it still will not stick.ive gave the body a nice key with some fine sand paper so it has something to stick to and I'm about pulling my hair out with it now it's driving me up the wall.if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share I will be true grateful as always.

After playing with mine, it looks as though it's pulled tight and kept in tension around the windows and boot and that's why it seems to be glued under the bootseal.
