Hard plastic intercooler pipe

Hi,  on my hard plastic intercooler pipe I seem to have a kink /fold at the end near the TB, the pipe has a metal ring inside that doesn`t look correct,  do you know what should be there, and if this is likely to leak boost?

yeah, thats not right, they should be gold and are much thinner metal

Managed to get one of the German EBAY with the gold insert.
