Usual insurance company recommendations
« on: March 01, 2016, 03:46:03 pm »
Finally built my G40. It's a CL that's converted. Somewhere in the region of 160-170 BHP allegedly. Struggling to get insurance quotes due to a couple of claims made against me last year. Despite having 14 years no claims the company I'm with only recognises 9 (this is normal, I know). I unfortunately did not protect my NCB (despite thinking I had) so I'm now down to 5 years NCB. I also have an SP50 (6points £280 fine). I'm 32 yet the only company that's quoted me is HiC @ £870 FC (all mods declared and £3k valuation). I tried Adrian Flux but they won't quote as it's a "sister company" apparently, Performance direct required an email list of the mods and will get back to me in 48 hrs, Brentacre aren't interested due to the 2 claims against me in the last year.

Can anyone recommend any other companies that are likely to quote me?

Brentacre - normally good can be cheapeset and if not cheapest will  be close from my history - but just seen that not interested in you - ring again you may get someone senior who can play the system.

Otherwise, sky insurance
