Strut part - a favour please!
« on: July 21, 2015, 04:15:17 pm »
I'm building up a set of standard struts, but I'm missing item #10, part number 861 412 369.

Would anyone be so kind as to measure theirs up for me so I can get something machined up? I can't get a new one from the dealers, nor from VW Classic Parts. Thanks!

I am just gonna through an idea here but I think that the Arosa/Lupo uses the same top mount setup for the front shocks as the polo. It's worth a look as they might just be the same.

Measurements were taken with a metal tape rather than calipers but should be good enough. :)

Thank you Mark, you're a star!

That makes it a "Form C" M12 washer according to Google. Win!
