I need to reattach the spoiler to my bootlid. It seems to have been attached with some black masticky stuff before. I thought no more nails or the like might be a bit much. Any recommendations anyone?

I used a thin bead of black silicone. That way it can be removed at a later date without ruining it!

Butyl sealant tape is the stuff they use from factory

Plus 1 to Ryan, is good stuff, Germans use it on door membranes from factory
You can get a reel of it from bmw or teroson sell it, should be able to get it from a local paint supplier
