Rear disc conversion

Hi I use to own a g40 about 6 years ago and it had rear drums Iv just got another g40 and it has rear disc conversion with mk2 golf calipers I'm bored of them sticking already and as I'm live it the Isle of Man no mot to worrie about would fitting a line locker do as a parking brake

I'd just get the rear calipers from a mk4 Golf. Plenty about and Goodridge do a braided hose conversion so it is easy to convert to the banjo fitting.
They fit fine on the mk2 Golf carriers so no need to change that and the cable fits the same too.
That's what I have on mine and since fitting I've had no issues with sticking.

Yeah I'm using mk4 ones too and had no problem. I had to grind off the fins so the fit under standard mk2 coupe S alloys though.
