Track tyres
« on: August 05, 2015, 10:11:40 pm »
Hello people,

After some track day tyres for my G, don't necessarily need to be road legal either as I have a number of sets of rims.

Ive looked through lots of old threads but just wondering what people are running these days as the info seems to be on the old side??

Im lucky enough to have a set of 13's and 14's available to me so I can choose either, I am already happy with my current susp setup, Eibach springs and KYB ultra SR's and also still on 239's with VWII calipers,

Whats peoples thoughts/advice any pics of fitment would be cool too if available!

Any help appreciated  ;D

Cheers Haz.

medium compound yokohama a048s for me.  beyond that you're talking about full slicks.  I run out of talent before the a048s run out of grip though so they're fine for me.

Thanks for this, just gotta track some down now, and also sort out my suspension due to a leaky KYB, now looking for a bilstein alternative setup to run with my Eibachs

EARS tyres were the cheapest I found for my A048s. Their choice of sizes isn't great though.
