G40 Metal Headgasket Part No.

Does anyone know the part number for the metal head gasket people use on the G40?

I ordered one from VW but it turned out to be the wrong one, the bore is much much smaller, the part number is used is 030 103 383 AK

£20 down the drain as it was a special order

Think someone said a metal 1 from GSF for a mk4 a while back.

just the one for an AEX engine code mk4 (which is the 1.4 8v but the 1.6 is the same too).

the one you need is made by Victor Reinz & the Part Number is 60-31970-00. Not sure if GSF or Europarts supply, but at least with this info you can ask.

GSF certainly do sell it, it's just a bog standard 1.4/1.6 8v mk4 polo head gasket.
