Yes, pretty much every car on the road uses the Ackerman principle. There are a few examples that don't due to the slip angle of the tyres but unless you're going into development with a certain type of tyre then I would stick with the factory settings.

Some race cars use anti-Ackerman due to their tyre characteristics but that takes a bit of investigation to get right.
