how do these differ to uprated poly ones? are they just the same but older and have vw stamped on?

Far from it , these are more comparable to nylon bushes , these are totally in a different league to poly bushes. They are almost full solid.

I bought the first 3 of these that Karlos had for sale.

For anyone wondering, they are totally solid. I've fitted all three and now there is no play in the mounts at all. The standard mounts feel like a sponge compared to these. Well worth a buy.

The rear/engine side  mount is provisionally sold ..... only the gearbox side mount is left offers.... once its gone its gone!!
