If you want to go with a servo setup, I had a Lockheed remote servo fitted to my Mk2 G40 conversion around 10 years ago. I couldn't tell you much about it as I didn't fit it, but a little search online shows a few people selling them on eBay for sensible money...

I got a set of Mk2 gti 16v calipers for £12.50 delivered,  what adaptors would I need to fit them to my 91 Gt breadvan?

Are they stamped VWII? If so, you can use the Polo carriers you have already got.

If they are stamped Girling 54 then you will either need the early Audi carriers, or use the later carriers with the aforementioned adapters.

Help please,  I don't want to order them if there not the adaptors you mean.

Good question, I'd be interested to hear...?
Because earlier this threads says you could just bolt 256 calipers (veedub90) ,so yes they would be suitable, but the advert specifically says 280 calipers, so no they wouldn't be suitable.
There are some similar on amazon

If the caliper carrier mounting points are the same it should work in theory?

I've looked at these but I didn't like that it basically turned it into a single line brake system so removed the diagonal setup.

No, you will end up spacing the caliper out too far, so your pad will not be in full contact with the disc

The problem seems to be getting hold of the Audi carriers, without them are my girling 54 calipers useless?

Reviving this slightly...

Do the Wilwoods (256) fit behind 14" BBS RA's? Also would the master cylinder need changing at all? It has a 22mm one on already.
