piper cam problem

fitted a piper cam bp270h cam kit to my g40 and cam lobes hitting the head!!!!! any ideas anyone ? thanks

I run that cam without any issues. Modified rocker cover or anything out of the norm?

Did you fit new tappets when you put it on?

I had to relieve the head with a dremel when I fitted my piper cam.

I took a file to my head too ... Seems common practice. Shabby really!

10 mins with the dremmel sorted the head it was only the exhaust lobes that were contacting the head, was not expecting that and yes  it came with buckets /tappets one of which was faulty piper must have had them sitting a while as the lube on them had dryed out! not good. thanks for everyones help . gary
