Well what a great weekend that was. 9 hours driving there and back and covered around 600 miles! 372 miles to a tank with 3 litres still in there, bot too bad when we did 100 miles of driving through the district.

Got a few photos from the rally and have got about 45 mins of video's but they need editing. Once done i will upload the vids.

cracking weekend lads.  Managed to not get too left behind in my Seat at least.

Need to get my polo back together now, missing it after the rally.

Thanks to all who turned up and to Sam & Pete for organising it all.

Yeah thanks guys great weekend glad the sun came out . nice to meet all of you got loads of ideas now , looking foreword to next year , hayesey didn't realise that was you ! Lol will know for next time haha it was weird knowing everybody by screen name , and knowing the roads Abit better will help next year ( I won't be bringing so much shit with me next year lol)

hayesey

yeah we need t-shirts with our names on or something!  I'm terrible at remembering people's names at the best of times.

I think we need printed off route-maps next year.  We've had those in the past and less people seem to have got separated and ended up going the wrong way.  But it all worked out OK in the end.

metz

First one ive been to but will be doing it all again next year. loved the sound of toothies behind me also...got me thinking haha

Etches

Ben are you reffering to the "mrs" haha!

Cheers Pete and Sam for organising it, table booking was a smart idea!

Only thing that would have made it better is more cars in attendance, and if that bloody focus had gone quicker than 30 in a 50 zone!

Names on t shirts would be good screen name with real name above or below lol yeah me to I have to save name and numbers in my phone before I start to remember peoples names ( long I know )

Maps , great idea , with phone numbers on too maybe?

Etches  lmao I wasn't no but I don't think she'll be coming to the next one

I thought this turned out awesome, at first on the way there with the heavy rain I was a bit  >:( but the rally turned out immense, was sweet seeing so many other G's on the road in one place.  Good to meet some new people too.

Certainly up for it next year and I'll prepare much better for the camping as that made me really tired for Sunday but Tatton was still a good show.

Thanks to all the guys for arranging it and cheers Martin and Tom for pushing my car around haha.

ABTDAN

Again as said by others cheers to Pete and Sam for putting it on.
Really enjoyed it and met some great guys.
Will it be the same time next year?

hayesey

to be fair, you'll not get much more of a turnout to a G40 rally in the north of england than that.  Not like these cars are all over the place and many southerners wont travel (I know some will obviously!).

We've had printed maps with contact numbers on in the past.  A consideration for next year I think.

except that we'd look like a right bunch of gimps (even more so) :)

Jester

I only got 2 photos the whole weekend haha, lazy

I wish I had a gopro really.

Jezza-7

Think I was the only one from down south that went.

Hi guys, Need to apologies for not making it to this! unfortunately I didn't manage to get the G running due to a rogue oil feed pipe which was a wee bit too big and ended up popping the oil seal on the main shaft pulley side. :-( totally gutted as was looking forward to getting to a meet!

Perhaps  as this was enjoyed by quite a few then there might be demand to reinstate the winter club g40 rolling road day
