Castle Combe is boooooooring!

As for Oulton being a far trek you could always stay over the night before - lots of cheap b&b's near Oulton.

I've just started to sort something out for Club Polo.

2 options is Blyton Park on the Saturday 17th May which is a track day in the morning and a time sprint event in the afternoon. I've not done one before but it sounds like a bit of light competitive fun and I'm sure we can sort a price for the quickest Polo on the day. or the most improved time. This is again run by the guys from Mazda on Track so it should be a fun day. Normally this is £139 but I'm able to do it for £89 for CP Members or £119 for non-club members.

The other could be Cadwell Park on 8th June but this would be around the £180-200 mark being a weekend day on a motorsport circuit

Would love to do blyton but it's a 3.5hr journey for me with the trailer plus my tow car does 21mpg with the trailer so it's an expensive day out.

teeside is way too far for me, infact, out of them oulton park is the closest!!! you may be right robin a b&b is going to have to be the way foward. november will be too late, polo will have no engine by then :S and end of may is pretty soon!! what date exactly are you going? any chance up for going later? does it get crowded in july time?

I am planning on doing the 27th of May - after may it starts to get expensive as some days will be nudging £300 for a day!!

If you do decide to come along then let me know and I can help you get a local b&b and meet up with you etc.
