G-lader bracket cracking

Was about to clean it and then noticed a strange crack, thought it was paint so i scraped it and it was not a paint crack. Here is what i found:







Has anyone had similar problems before?

Or does anyone know what could of caused it? I torque these correctly as well.

95 % are like that. I put it down to over doing tbat bolt

Oh really.

So no point in buying a new one. Worth getting it welded?

only ones ive seen not cracked are pretty much ones on very low miles cars/ones that not been fecked with.

It was the counter weight for me check it's all together right I fouls it cracks because the charger moves from right to left or try's to lol
