GT cam and the GT2554R might work nicely, but depends on what you want out of the setup.

Well the car is going to be mainly used on the road (swiss alps and mountain roads etc) with the occasional track day each year. so when im on the road its never going to be in the high rpm when coming out of corners etc, id like the boost to come on strong at a lower rpm around 3 to 3.5k would be nice and then see max boost at around  6k i like chasing the revs if that makes sense. but i dont want to have to change down 7 gears for something to happen when i put my foot down, or have to wait 10 years for the turbo to spool

as for bhp it doesnt really matter but i like the 200bhp barrier, i know its only figures but its something to aim for
Thanks mate :)

If that's what you want then there's a compelling case for a K03 and 268° cam as long as you can find a decent K03 manifold. I paid €300 for mine with a downpipe yonks ago on eBay.de, it's a shame if they're no longer available.

Awesome! Thanks dude! Hearing it from you gives me confidence that, that combo will be what I'm looking for :D

Yeah, I would have liked new, but I'll have to keep an eye open on ebay.De. Never know rothe might start selling then again in the future. Just said at the current time they won't be selling them

I had a look on emtec website and they do do a ko3 flanged mani. That means I have to mess around with the oil filter though. I'll just be patient :) I'm sure one will come up between now and October

Thanks for the help people :) made my mind up finally after and age of deciding what to do :)

I know it was ages ago, but how much did you pay for your rothe mani? Bartek sell a stainless downpipe for the rothe mani which is good!!

After seeing yoofs I was going to get jp racing to make a custom downpipe, what are the Phil j manifolds like? Just the manifold? That plus a custom down pipe might work nice! Anyone had any problems with their Phil j mani? Jp said tubular shouldn't be used for turbos as it's not strong enough. Worth making a bracket as a little bit of extra support?

Ah screw that then!
I'll just be patient. Which garrett turbo you reckon is most similar to the ko3? Would a garrett be better than? Would a garrett journal bearing turbo withstand more of a pasting than a ko3? Less likely to let me down
Sorry for so many questions :S
