« on: March 10, 2014, 04:42:55 pm »
Hi all....not sure if anyone else has had the same probley as me but hear it is...
I put an after market hid kit on...hi and low beam and worked fine apart from i noticed when switching the
Side lights on..the hids came on two...
So ive taken them out and put a good set of standard bulbs back in

But still when i put the side lights on its putting my diped beam on just a little....?
This is my second switch aswell as i thought it was that...

Any help anyone please....

Disconnect the cylindrical resistor type device thats bolted to the inner wing next to the fuse box under the screen passenger side.

no, the lights are supposed to do that.  You can just disconnect the dim-dip resistor and they'll not do it any more.

look at the "UK" section on dim-dip regulations in the late 80s - early 90s.
