You might not all be aware but the oil feed line for the chargers has recently gone obsolete! :-\

They're a set length and diameter to keep the flow and pressure at the charger right, if these are changed it effects both these factors and damages the bearings or reduces their life quite easily! This has been found when people have tried to make their own feed line.

Luckily I've managed to secure a source of the genuine lines from the company that supplied direct to VW ;D

Here's a link to them on my site, they come with new banjos and washer as standard

45 pounds! - Extortion

Pete sells them for £28.

Also why would you get 4 banjo bolts, but only 4 washers.

You only need 2 bolts, 4 washers...

Pete can't sell them for £28 anymore as you can't get them for £28. They were more than that when they went obsolete ;) Unless they're not genuine but I can't comment on that

Our is a full kit too but that's beside the point.

Ah, typo, that's now correct :)

ps. no offence Pete :)

Can't see that being the case; supply pressure varies as per engine temp./revs and length isn't even in the equation.
My humble standalone attempt has a 6MM feed pipe dia. ,drilled out and cross drilled banjo bolts, quality oil and runs at 4-7psi. It's clean, cool running and flows very well as intended. I've got every faith in it.

It is, supply does vary but the feed pipe keeps the quantity at a charger at a set amount. I'm not an oil expert so I can't say much on it. But I've tested it myself and it does damage bearings pretty quickly.

Standalone kits are different as again oil is constantly covering all bearings :)

As for price, mine is taking in to account VAT and my own time sourcing these future proof parts and paying my bills :)
