Well that's at least half a dozen interested. Which would be worthwhile. My younger brother has been in Sheffield at uni the past few years and was speaking enthusiastically about snakes pass; he broke an ARB mount 4's up in his lowered 1.4 6N2 whilst enjoying this route ;D

It's a fair trek for me from turnip farming land, but it'd be worth it to drive some nice roads and enjoy some different scenery.

Snake pass an woodhead bypass as awesome roads but they are a lil scary if you dont know them an you want to drive at speed. Kills lots of people each year unfortunately

Sounds good to me gaz!  Can't be as mental as the Swiss roads with no railings

we'd normally take in the cat and the fiddle... and a route between snake pass and woodhead called 'the strines'

It would be good to do this again. I will hopefully have a bit more time in the summer to help organise this if there is enough interest. A change of venue might be good but as Pete says the peaks was an obvious choice so we could good to Tatton afterwards. If there is another event we could gatecrash somewhere else in the country but go for a bit of a drive the day before that would be fine too. It would be handy for the route master to have some good local knowledge of the good roads too if its elsewhere in the country. Best to do it in the summer too so we can all camp somewhere and have a few beers in the evening!

Heres some photos from previous years.

Sounds like a good idea, bit north though! Also have to get the car sorted, wouldn't want to turn up running like a bag of balls.
