Emerald management
« on: October 22, 2013, 05:40:46 pm »
Right I am thinking of going with Emerald for my management on the polo and was wondering if there's many people running it?

I've got a choice of 2 shit hot mappers to choose from..

I was mainly wondering what people are doing for the ecu loom plugs between the stock ones and emerald?

Why don't you stick with digifant system?
If you are going to throw the crapy distributor system or boost more that 1.6 bar, ok, go on... BUT

Digi is prety good for turbo applications too, plus Andy is a digi guru, he will sort almost any problem.
Also, emerald does not have knock control (please correct me if i am wrong)
Think that you need:
ECU
Loom (cables, plugs, connectors)
A few sensors if you stick with distributor
and of course, a lot of TIME

Mainly as digi is way out dated and I sold the ecu. aftermarket management is more tuneable.. It does have knock control... Also I was just wondering if there was a harness adapter out there..
