Gates open at 8am, so just after then as I'll have to fart around with the trailer etc.

Heh, funny day. Found the limit of Polo CV joints now I think, broke 2 inners today.

Best time without nitrous was 12.84 @ 110.5mph  ;D

That was backed up with 13.01, 13.05, 12.94, and ahem a 16.42....

One CV broke off the line, dug out my replacement, fitted it and ran again.

First run with new CV and nitrous was on, bogged off the line badly (2.2 60ft- usual is sub 2.0) but got a 113mph terminal at almost 7000rpm, I'd have to change to 5th to go quicker.

Final run of the day shaped up to be good, nice launch (1.92 60ft) good 330ft (5.38) and then I hit the nitrous in 3rd, duly snapped another CV, arse.

For comparison, the 60ft and 330ft of my final run were quicker than my previous PB of 12.5 @110mph - but you've got to make it to the end before breaking I suppose...

Good day, nice to catch up with a few people, and I'll be attending more 'Peak Performance' days rather than conventional RWYB in the future, due to more track time.

Yes I was abit gutted about the Kitten, I've got the slip here, Polo was quicker to 330ft, by 0.10s until it snapped a shaft. Would have been a good race!

CV joint - yes I have a few ideas, I'll put up some pics in my build thread when I get round to it.

Will get a few vids up later.
