hi

is the super charger off a 1.4 tfsi any good for G40 aplication
 
i know that they can put out 2 bar of boost but cut out on a pulley at set rpm , dose anyone know if they can take higher rpm or where i can get anymore info ??

The eaton charger from the tsi engine is tiny, its an eaton m25 whereas the eaton charger usually used on the g40 engine is the eaton m45.
The reason they cut out at a certain rpm is that they're a very small supercharger used to increase performance at lower rpm before the turbo comes into play.

ah so their an eaton , did not know that !

so they could spin up to max engine rpm , but would be naf

that stop`s my train of thought in its tracks

but what boost would it make at propper engine speed? if it did turn out to be quite good it may help save space in the engine bay {not that i have any idea how much boost or even if it could be ran at high engine rpm} just thinking out loud
