Technical > Superchargers / G-Lader
Anyone had a go with a G45 yet?
ereeiz:
As above really. Curious to know how it compares to a standard/ ported charger, etc. Is it useable or does it make the throttle like an on/off switch, etc.

Id like to know this too :)
are they ok with 65mm pulleys? Whats the max boost and are they reliable, well by reliable i mean any less reliable than a g40?
dekerf1996:
Certainly look interesting, there has been a fair amount of r&d over in Germany from what I can tell
Need part of a g60 charger and a g40 charger to make one so wrecks the g60
Certainly would like to find out the limits on a well speced engine

Curious to know if anyone's got one yet?
Do they sound different? I imagine a bit more of a burble/gurgle as it's flowing more air.
Anyone know of any vids? Even better if they're before/ after comparisons.
I read a review on the maxrpm site (translated from French);
Excellent achievement - Reliability +++ Cedrick G., 27.11.2014
Product ordered from France, super fast delivery (less than a week), simple and effective communication.
The compressor arrives very clean and totally reconditioned, oiled and greased generously, look origin like a new part. The parts provided in exchanges are genuinely exchanged by a compressor already ready.
Nothing to do with the prepaid cans of the pseudos specialists of the G in France, which I paid, as many of us I suppose ...
Almost every day use in the 5PK pulley of 68mm, 1 bar at 6000trs / min, 1800km without any worries, no running-in, increased pressure over the entire curve of the speed makes the impression to have a prep overhand and torque while only the compressor Is responsible.
Ideal for not getting into the big G60 changes and not disfiguring his polo.
I would do it again without hesitation.
The strength of the G is with you! O)
