Afternoon chaps,

Just wanted to check my ecu and whether it has been chipped. It looks original.

Cylinder head should be back in my possession this weekend, with new valves and while he was doing that he mentioned he would clean everything up, as he is a specialist mini mechanic.

I recently put a bored gt inlet mani on, and while running the early full blend charger. Will a stock chip suffice or should I be looking at something with a larger intake tolerance?

Cheers

That's stock.  Inlet should be ok... but smaller pulley is less ok.

Think tom etches has a few chips for sale, might have one to match your mods, should feel much better with suited chip :) you got a de wedged throttle to match the inlet and charger?

physicsfool

Throttle mod will be done before I put it back on. Does the throttle mod make a significant difference?

This is what the head looks like pre valve reinstallment. It's had a chemical bath and a bit of work on the valve seats. Just waiting for the elring gaskets to turn up. Will it require a custom chip to get the best results or are there any standard ones that could work?

Cheers

Thats impressive!
Youll need a custom chip for the smaller pulley, not the head work, definitly get one to make the most of it

A custom chip is a waste of money for this specs mate. Just fit a stage 1 chip (for pulley) and you'ii be fine.

Sorry by custom chip i just meant the chips yoof and andy do, not a full blown remap!

Good stuff. Not sure I will be doing anything more to the car. Fancy keeping it fairly standard.
I will give the ppp guys a shout
