Campbelt g40

How hard is g40 cambelt to do the clutch is on its way out do I just take engine and box out?

If you've got to do both, then yeah.

Once it's out very easy- VW are nice and put modern technology like woodruff keys into pulleys, unlike Renault  :D

I jest, anyway, it's easy and cheap, might aswell do the water pump too whilst you're at it.

Might be worth stitch welding the dodgy gearbox mount whilst its out :)
mines started to crack and im running pretty much standard power so definitely worth doing

as you look down at the engine its the one on the right, so i suppose that would be the top one
have a look on yoofs build thread, hes got lots of useful pictures and guide on how to do it.
Severe cases the mount can fail and snap off
