Planning to change the fuel system later this year.

Im planning to get a sytec 135ltr/p hour, a fuel filter and change the complete fuel lines for braided ones. Last time i did the filter the hose was not the best so will be ideal to change it all.

Would i need to upgrade the in tank pump at all? This was replaced last year.

Has anyone replaced the fuel lines before?

Also say if i got 4 metres of line, when i cut it to suit how does it all connect with the hose clamps you can get?

(i know this may be few weeks old and already answered but!) After doing some research for a while now, seeing that our G40 pumps are approx. 75ltr/hour are capable of 200bhp

we do not need much of an upgrade ..

this BRAND NEW bmw pump is also 135ltr/hour

and my understanding is that the in tank pump never has to be upgraded as its only a feed to the main pump.

if anything is wrong i do not mind being corrected....

my car has braided lines running inside the car. I used the goodridge version of those posh fittings to do the pump>filter then i fitted bulkhead fittings and had to buy the extortionately expensive connectors that you mount to the braided line with a compression fitting and an olive and then obviously banjos at the throttle body.

the fittings are the most expensive bit by a long way!
