gearshift tower/shortshift

Trying to find information an a mk1 polo that use to be about on the forums a while back, was race preped, and was orange/bronze in colour, but the main bit i'm after is, the gearshift tower.  It was a tall square shape with the shiftstick mounted on top, with the selector rod at the bottm. Think it was alluminium.
any information will be a great help.

Yep a CAE motorsport shifter is indeed what you are thinking of. The car you are thinking of belongd to Jaymac from the Players crew. He's posted on here, his email is listed on his profile page .. jaymct@mac.com i would imagine hes sold the shifter by now but try dropping him an email!? They sometimes come up for sale on eBay.de so try having a peak on there?

£722 with delivery tho certainly not cheap.
