Since I have done my conversion to G40 into my Bready, The coolant level indicator LED on the dash keeps flashing.

I know the G40's had expansion tanks with the sensor built in, which my original didn't, I was left with a spare plug on my loom. So I purchased a brand new expansion/header tank with the sensor built in. I then plugged my left over plug into it, but the LED keeps flashing.

Is this a common fault or am i doing something wrong.

This problem comes up quite a lot; look back to page 4 where Becket had it and see some responses. No sign out answer unfortunately.

If I remember rightly, when I done my conversion I had the same problem, that or it was the oil light flashing, I can't remember, but I found out I had the blue and yellow sensors plugged in the wrong way round.
