Built up the bottom end with new accralite 77mm pistons last weekend.  Popped down the lock up this evening to pick somthign up and just had another look round the bottom end, turned it over by hand and noticed on bores 1 and 3, when the pistons are on the down stroke there is one line in each bore about 1mm-ish wide of oil, verticaly in the bores.

My question is really, what is causing the two lines?? is it just excess oil from when installing the pistons into the block (lubing up the installer tool to allow the pistons to slide)

or am i just over looking things and this is sort of normal???
