Brake pipe size + unions

Got to do some solid pipes on my car, ate the brake pipes 3/16 copper?? Also what unions will I need are they a standard thread for 3/16 pipe ?? Or are the pipes metric 4.75mm (which is very close to 3/16 I know)

unions will be M10x1mm.
Pipe diameter 3/16 sounds right, but I can't remember 100%.

3/16 is the diameter. At least that's what I'm using :-?
