Hello I'm just changing my clutch and I can't seem to find the drain plug for the gearbox oil anyone got any ideas

hayesey

It's under where the drive shaft goes in on the passenger side.  But why do you need to drop the box?

matthg40

The box has to cum out to get to the clutch or u telling me there's a quicker way

But you don't need to drain the oil, it can stay in.  Although it's a good idea to replace anyway if you don't know when it was done

Yer that was the plan to replace it while it was out

It'd be a good idea to release the fill plug while the 'box is still on the car too, after the oil's been drained obviously. Saves wrestling with the fill plug later with the box rolling all over the floor.
