Electric sunroof conversion kit for the factory steel sliding roof made by electric life (same company who made the window kits for VW back in the day using bosch motors).

Will also fit mk2 golfs, jettas, sciroccos as they all run the same sunroof (including the tilt and slide rocco roof but obviously the motor doesnt have the memory position function).

Totally obsolete now, no parts are available from Electric life or VW UK or Germany any more.

Consists of:
Copy of the instruction booklet x1
Motor x1
Motor spacer x1
Motor mounting bolts x2
Motor plastic cover panel x1 (Black to match the GT/G40 headliner they did a cream version also, but never seen one.)
Motor cover rear mount x1
Motor cover rear mount bolts x2
Plastic cover retaining bolts x2
Switch x1
Wiring diagram x1

Apart from this one and the one in my squareback, I have only ever heard of 1 other in an old mans in Germanys

£250 or very very close offers (The one in my Squareback was NOS and cost £450) as i can stick it on ebay and the mk2 golf boys will cream there pants for it.
Note: This allows you to also run a mk2 golf internal dimming mirror.
Fitting it requires drilling 2x 2.5mm holes in the inner roof skin ( handle bracket) to hold the cover plate
And a small notch has to be cut in the original winder metal backing to allow the motor to sit flush apart from that it is plug an play.

Will add a pic of it in the polo optional extra booklet (the switch is different as VW did a bit of artistic licensing on their photos same as the heated seat switch photo etc) and some pics of it mocked up in my squareback at the weekend.

PM me if your seriously interested.
