driving me crazy now, i have a hall censor from dKnight, new leads, cap and arm, coil, fairly new plugs, good fuel pressure, a good spark coming off the plug, good compression. ?? im running out out of ideas!! most parts are VAG aswell!
any ideas?

Have you checked the wiring to the ECU, to make sure it's receiving all the right signals? Only thing I can think of, since you seem to have covered the rest.

Are you sure the leads are in the right order starting from the right point on the dizzy?
