ive got a really lumpy cold start, somtimes doesnt even want to! will misfire and smoke untill warmed up, can anyone point me in the right direction of what to look at?

Sounds like a dodgey coolant temp sensor to me (blue 2 pin).
Make sure you buy a genuine one if you do, as cheap ones are poo.
