Can you port a g40 inlet?

Probably cause you can, is it worth it?

Was wondering if it would be better than a gt inlet.

read somewhere once that a guy asked his engineer what to do and he said a ported G40 would be better. problem is you may pay money to get it worked and only get it as open as a GT inlet. Port matching it may find something but probs only a little

I don't think the expense would be worth any minuscule improvement you might get over just using a GT inlet personally.

I'd say the GT manifold is the best you'll get - I remember comparing the two side-by-side and thinking that the external diameter of the runners on the GT manifold was greater than on the G40 inlet. Therefore however much material you could port from the G40 inlet, you could always port more from the GT inlet.
