Amazing people who slate it because of experience they had... to me they are clearly idiots with no mechanical brain at all and have gone to garages who clearly rip them off and they see them coming.  Shite brakes - same as mk1 golf -but down to servo being smaller due to space and packaging problems in RHD.  Drive a LHD G40 - good brakes!

but I like the general consensus that no matter what else people have bought since, nothing has ever had the charm of the G40!
