Karls G40 video - what gearbox?

what box is he running in this? cause he goes all the way to 120 in 4th and im almost sure mine gets to only 105-110ish
is it by chance a later CEK(??) box that had a longer 4th gear?
my 5th gear seems to be similar to his though i think.

hmm, might have to go test this then! got a photo from germany and the speedo in 5th is 115mph at 5000rpm; that about right?

Standard gearing is 21.6mph/1000rpm in 5th IIRC. That gives 108 at 5000 rpm and a top speed of just over 140 at the stock rev limit. You have to allow for speedo reading a bit high. Karl's car is probably doing 140mph rather than 150+. Also wheels/tyres will affect gearing by a few percent.

did a run. can deffo get to those speeds aswell - must be an ATV, should look at the speedo more!
