Thought I would pop up a few pictures and that of my G40.

I've had the car for about 3 years now and it started life as a GT but as many others I craved a bit more power and got hold of a G40 lump without a charger.

Made the decision to go turbo after weighing up the pro's and cons of both.
The conversion was finished in Jan 08 but has been off the road for a few months due to losing my job then the new one taking up all my time!

The original spec was slightly better but due to no job I had to free up some cash so sold the Emerald, LSD and Wideband  :(

The current spec is as follows:

Engine
Rebuilt PY Engine
K03 Turbo
PSD Manifold
PSD Downpipe
PSD Turbo Cam
PSD FMIC
Longlife Full Stainless Exhaust
Mocal Oil Cooler
Lightened Flywheel
Rebuilt ATV Box
Dewedged Throttle Body
Helix Paddle Clutch

Suspension
H&R Cup Kit
G-laderseite ARB Blocks

Brakes
G40 Calipers
Pagid Pads
Brembo Discs
PSD Braided Hoses

Wheels/Tyres
13" BBS RA's in Satin Black with Toyo Proxes CF1
13" BBS RA's in Silver with Toyo R888's
14" Ronal's with Yokohama A048R's

Plans:

Looking to book it into get a cage fitted before its back on the road then try and get a new LSD, either a Quaife or another plate type one.  I also want to look into improving my brakes slightly and to try out some more tyre combo's.
Also a subframe will be aquired as everyones raving about them!

Apart from that I just look forward to getting some more miles on it this year  ;D

Some pictures:

Just a small update in that this will be back on the road shortly!

I have also been toying with the idea of coilovers, although there is nothing wrong with my H&R I fancy a bit of adjustment especially with running different wheels/tyres

Gaz_golf_gti

samg40

You got any pictures of it on the classics. Thought it looked top on those.
