right i recently messed up fitting my new ppp manifold,i broke one of the studs in the engine and i cant get it out so it went to my goo friends garage to see what he can do, and they couldnt get it out so ive been told they will take the block out and try and get it out with a pillar drill and if that fails then they will have to have it spar eroded but there pretty confident the pillar drill will work as there isnt alot of the easy in there (bout 3mm)
obviously im going to have to get my cambelt done but what else should i get done whilst its all apart?
cambelt and timing for deffo (obviously water pump)
headgasket?
any other gaskets?
what else should i do?
piston rings?
cheers guys

Depends how many miles your engine has done, how much you want to spend and how long you're keeping it for afterwards.  I'd be looking to change crank seals and maybe the oil-pump at a minimum if it was me.

I'd do both crank end seals and the paper gaskets under the ali end covers on each end.  check the condition of core plugs and possibly replace the breather pod as it's a lot easier with the block on a stand than in the car.

It's done 114k and had a rebuild 4yrs ago,
