Hi all - I used to own g40's back in the day and glad to see so many of you have kept the faith
I often think about getting another which sure would be a far cry from the A4 tdi i'm in these days! Anybody on here own my old car J40 VW, jabba's old demonstrator? Last I heard it'd headed down to South Wales.

it was a  montana green wasn't it? or capri green? with a chargecooler, 256mm brakes, 14" bbs etc if i'm not mistaken. Didn't you have a red one before that flush boot etc?

many many moons, was on my first g40 which i sold in 2003 i think. I'm still down with the kids on my 3rd g40 - all have been bl00dy red too!!!  I'm a 'stock all the way' person these days.

Owdo Rich!  Not seen you about for a while.  I've not heard anything about your car since you had it really.  I still had the 13" wheels I bought off it till nto that long ago, Nick_S on here bought those off me and I guess he still has them.  

Yes some of us don't seem to be able to shake the G40 bug (I guess like smoking, you have to want to quit first).

Ello Rich, you still living on Anglesey? Yep i have your old 13" RA's via Paul which are now on my blue G40. Don't think you've seen this one. I had a black K reg G40 when i first got a pair of wheels off you back in 2003!

I have seen it I think. There was a mint low low mileage blue G40 at the all types show had lamp protectors on iirc. As I said earlier it's good to see so many of you have kept the faith..

LOL, I'm glad he did! I was so proud of that car I nearly racked the spec off myself.

I may well get another G40, buy a wreck and restore.
